Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

The hike, spanning 3-8 hours, entails traversing lengthy distances amidst steep, muddy terrain, often under the canopy of rain, before encountering these incredible creatures.

For those seeking further immersion, engage in the optional Batwa Community Walk should your gorilla trek conclude early. Led by knowledgeable guides, embark on a one-hour journey through the forest, gaining insight into the Batwa way of life.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Hiking

Head back to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during golden monkey trekking.

Start trekking in the forest in search of the golden monkeys which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the golden monkeys are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food.

Day 4: Departure Entebbe / Kigali

Today you head back to Entebbe arriving in the evening where your driver guide drops you off at Entebbe International Airport or drops you off at any place of convenience.  OR You fly out of Kigali International Airport.
