Itinerary for the 3-Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda
Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our safari Guide/Driver will meet you at the airport or hotel for pick-up. Embark on your journey to Bwindi Forest with a stopover at the equator crossing point and Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch.
Proceed through the farmlands and gorilla highlands arriving in the evening for relaxation.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast as today holds the much-anticipated highlight of your safari: an unforgettable encounter with the Gentle Giants! Make your way to the national park offices.
Here, you’ll be grouped into parties of eight and assigned a gorilla family to track, along with an experienced ranger guide.
Prepare for an extraordinary adventure as you embark on your gorilla tracking journey. Be ready for a trek lasting anywhere from two to eight hours, navigating steep and slippery terrain, perhaps under the occasional rain shower.
The Gorilla Trekking Experience
Once you’ve sighted the gorillas, the real magic begins. Spend a precious hour in their presence, observing their daily routines: feeding, playing, moving about, and grooming.
It’s an intimate glimpse into their world that promises to be truly unforgettable.
After your time with the gorillas, head back to the trailhead and transfer to the comfort of Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s incredible experiences.
Day 3: Travel back to Entebbe or Kigali in Rwanda for departure
Prepare for the long journey at the end of your 3-day gorilla trekking Bwindi experience tour back to Entebbe. Get ready for the journey back to Entebbe or Kigali, which can be either by flight or a scenic drive.
Have lunch en route and the guide will drop you off at your place of convenience.
