7-Day Uganda Cultural Experience

The Uganda Cultural Experience takes you to the place where 3 countries meet- Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania. We introduce Nshenyi Village, a 170-hectare farm located in the Ntungamo district, at the border with Isingiro district about 2 km from Kitwe town.

Nshenyi Village

The prominent village is where the eminent long-horned Ankole are reared by thousands and you get to mingle with the people and their cattle or even squeeze a cup of fresh mild from one of the cows.

From the Nshenyi farm, the Uganda cultural tour continues through awesome views of the magnificent sunsets and backdrops of the Virunga mountains.

The well-known Kagera River meanders at an estimated distance of only 5 miles, forming the natural border between Uganda-Tanzania and Rwanda-Tanzania.

This remote source of the Nile originates in the highlands of Burundi, winding its way northward until it terminates in Lake Victoria.

Entanda Cultural Village

Following that, you’ll journey to the Entanda Cultural Village nestled in Kijjude, which translates to “a community blessed with abundance.” Situated in the heart of the central region of Uganda, this village offers a genuine cultural immersion into Buganda traditions.

The program encompasses various activities including Music, Dance, Drama, Cultural learning, Dining, Wine tasting, Games, and Sports.

In Buganda culture, “Entanda” signifies a thoughtful offering given to loved ones. It could be practical advice or tangible gifts intended to assist them in the future, whether they be a daughter, son, cousin, friend, or cherished individual.

By actively engaging in these activities, visitors gain profound insights and return home enriched with valuable knowledge and experiences to draw upon in the days ahead.

Visitors to Entanda Cultural Village have the opportunity to explore, learn, and delight in the vibrant atmosphere. Notably, the village itself, where Entanda is situated, bears the name Kijjude.
