Itinerary 10 day Magical Experience in Kenya

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel for relaxation. Accommodation at Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve (6 hrs)

Today you will start your 10-day Magical Experience in Kenya by heading to Masai Mara. Passing through the Great African Rift Valley, and with lunch en route, you will proceed to the game reserve where you will have a brief game safari. Look out for

Lions, Giraffes, Buffalo and Elephants among others. Accommodation and Meals at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 3: Full Day Exploring Masai Mara Game Reserve

This day will be spent on game safaris in the park.  The Masai Mara offers some of the best chances to view animals such as cheetahs and leopards hiding among the acacia boughs that dot the rolling landscape.

You will have a picnic lunch close to nature. You will also visit the tribe of Masai warriors and learn about their cultural heritage with traditional song and dance.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for game drives. Lake Nakuru is a world-famous bird (over 400 bird species) and rhino sanctuary where thousands of flamingos congregate to feed on Spirulina platensis, a blue-green alga that grows naturally in the lake.

Found here as well are plenty of other interesting wildlife and birds such as the white rhino, leopard, lion, waterbuck, buffalo, impala, warthog, pelicans and a plethora of other birds.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli National Park  (7 hrs)

You will depart for the Amboseli National Park arriving in time for check-in and lunch at the Lodge. Later in the evening, you may have an evening game drive, look out for the Elephant, Giraffe, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, and Hippo among others.

OR you may visit a Local Masai village- Muteleu to learn more about their way of life. Return to your lodge for relaxation. Accommodation and Meals at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Game Safaris in Amboseli National Park

This day will be spent on game safaris in the park. Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Early in the morning, you may view the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early morning.

Amboseli is famed for its huge elephant herds, you will also see buffalos, black rhinos, zebra, wildebeest, and other plains animals and birds. Later head back to the camp.

Day 7: Amboseli- Nairobi ( 6hrs) – Flight to Diani 1 hr and 30 minutes.

After breakfast head back to Nairobi with lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant before proceeding to Wilson Airport for a scheduled domestic flight to Ukunda- Mombasa – Diani Beach to unwind after your safari experience.

Day 8 & 9: Relaxation at Diani Beach Resort

Spend time at Diani Beach, take walks down the coastline, and dip your feet in the warm, lapping waves of the Indian Ocean. Accommodation and Meals at Neptune Village Beach Resort

Optional Activities Include boarding a traditional Arabian Dhow to cruise to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park, looking out for Dolphins, and Snorkeling.

Day 10: Diani/ Mombasa – Nairobi by Plane (1 hour 30 minutes)

After a final breakfast at your hotel or resort, you will be taken to Ukunda airport in time for your scheduled flight back to the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. Depending on your flight, you may have lunch and thereafter be transferred for your own ward flight back home.
