After breakfast, head out for a hike starting from a designated trailhead near Gisakura Reception Center.  The 3-4 hour hike to Ndambarare Waterfall starts at 9 am and the trail passes through the tea estates and factory,  lush and vibrant dense forest vegetation. As you hike, look out for the various primate species including the black and white colobus monkeys and L'hoest monkeys.

There are also bird species along the trail. After approximately 1-2 hours of hiking (depending on your pace and trail conditions), you'll arrive at Ndambarare Waterfall.  This majestic cascade, surrounded by pristine forest, plunges into a tranquil pool below, creating a mesmerizing scene.  Later head back to the hotel for relaxation and check out, heading to Lake Kivu on a 1 -2 hour drive arriving in time for lunch and relaxation.
