The 7-Day Immersive Uganda Cultural Tour starts at Entebbe Airport, where you will be met by a company representative/guide who will transfer you to your place of overnight stay.

Day 2: Kampala to Nshenyi Cultural Village - Crossing into Heritage
Your westward journey begins with a drive along the Kampala–Masaka highway. The landscape tells its own story of the people, the land, and communities.
A stop at the Equator offers a chance to capture memories, support local artisans, and see how travel can empower communities. By evening, you’ll arrive at Nshenyi Cultural Village, a serene homestead where the heritage of the Ankole people lives on. Staying in a traditional Hima Homestead is a return to simplicity, an experience that honors both culture and the land.

Day 3: Milking Cows, Milk Processing, visiting the Border of Rwanda, and a Traditional Dance Group.
Wake to the soft sounds of cattle bells and birdsong. Today, you’ll join the community in milking the majestic Ankole long-horned cows, discovering the harmony between people, animals, and land, experiencing firsthand the deep bond between community and cattle. Learn the traditional craft of turning milk into ghee, a treasured staple passed down through generations.
In the afternoon, journey to the Mirima Hills, standing at the edge of Uganda and Rwanda. As evening falls, the air fills with drums and dance — and you’re invited to join in. This isn’t a performance to watch, but a celebration to feel, and be part of the living cultural story.

Day 4: Batwa Community and Pottery Works, Local Markets, and Nature walks at the Farm
After breakfast, visit the Batwa Community, learning about their deep connection to the forest and their pottery traditions that sustain local livelihoods. You will gain insight into their unique lifestyle and admire their pottery craftsmanship. Following this, you'll explore local markets and homesteads, engaging with the vibrant local community.
Return to the homestead for a leisurely late lunch and some downtime.
In the evening, you'll have the option of a nature walk through the farmlands, or a visit to local beekeepers who practice time-honored honey harvesting. Each encounter reflects harmony with nature and respect for cultural roots.

Day 5: Nshenyi Village - Igongo Cultural Museum- Kampala
After breakfast, bid farewell to Nshenyi and head to the Igongo Cultural Museum, where Ankole history and heritage come alive through art, exhibits, and reconstructed homesteads. Explore the Nkwazi Crafts Centre, the Eclipse Monument, and Itaramiro Cultural Village before lunch.
Later, journey back to Kampala, reflecting on the days spent immersed in stories of Uganda’s past and present.

Day 6: Ewaffe Cultural Village
Immerse yourself in the traditions of Buganda, Uganda’s largest kingdom. Be welcomed with energetic dances like Bakisimba and Nankasa, then stroll through lush gardens where indigenous plants and herbs reveal their healing secrets.
Join in a fruit feast and savor a traditional Luwombo meal, prepared with love and storytelling. Engage with Kojjas and Sengas, cultural custodians who share wisdom on family and social values. In the afternoon, take part in a tree-planting activity, a small yet lasting gesture toward renewal and harmony with nature.
As the day closes, relax with local brews and traditional games, a joyful celebration of community and connection before heading back to Kampala.

Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day depending on your flight time. A farewell lunch at a local restaurant celebrates Uganda’s culinary diversity one last time. If time allows, a day room is provided for freshening up before your guide takes you to Entebbe Airport for your departure.
