The lodge is located on the Mweya Peninsula and has unique views of Lake George and Lake Edward.

Accommodation: The Lodge features 16 Classic Guest Rooms, 28 Deluxe Guest Rooms, 2 Wheelchair Guest Rooms (Included Classic rooms), 2 Suites, 4 Safari Tents, 2 Family Cottages, the Queen’s Cottage, the Presidential Cottage, and Queen’s Pavilion Conference Facilities.

Amenities: Marasa Africa Spa, Fitness Centre, Infinity Poolside deck overlooking the Kazinga Channel, Gift Boutique Store,  Business Centre, Kazinga Restaurant, and Terrace. Furthermore, there is the Tembo Bar, a Poolside deck overlooking the Kazinga Channel, and Bush Dining in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The lodge is situated 941 meters above sea level, high on the western escarpment of the Albertine Rift in the northeast of the park, and offers beautiful panoramic views over the open grasslands stretching to Lake George. Elephant Plains Lodge offers a perfect blend of luxury and adventure, making it an ideal base for exploring the wonders of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Accommodation: 6 double/twin ensuite cottages and 2 family cottages with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with private, spacious verandahs overlooking the park.

Amenities: lounge, bar, restaurant, dining room with a spacious deck, swimming pool, gardens, nature trail walkways, craft shop, wheelchair accessibility, and an open-top game vehicle.

Kyambura Gorge Lodge

The renowned Kyambura Gorge Lodge in Uganda sits on the edge of the magical Kyambura Gorge, a sunken rainforest and home to the ‘Lost Chimps of Kyambura’. Built as part of the Kyambura Gorge Ecotourism project, the lodge has been converted from a coffee store to create a breathtakingly beautiful space, with sweeping views of the rolling savanna and the distant Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge is a good base for looking for chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest.

Accommodation: 8 beautiful, spacious bandas (Four deluxe and four standard rooms) have been created that blend harmoniously into the mountain landscape. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets, double vanity, and indoor and outdoor shower with hot & cold running water. Each room offers a different panoramic view of the gorge or the savannah grasslands and is individually decorated in a different color palette.

Amenities: The Lodge features a swimming pool with beautiful views of the park and Rwenzori Horizon, 2 tranquil massage rooms available. All
massages are complimentary. There is a Fig Tree Trail to start your trek into the gorge.
