Itinerary for the 3-Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our safari Guide/Driver will meet you at the airport or hotel for pick-up. Embark on your journey to Bwindi Forest with a stopover at the equator crossing point and Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch. Proceed through the farmlands and gorilla highlands arriving in the evening for relaxation.

Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi

Arise early today and prepare for the highlight of your safari, an unforgettable encounter with the Gentle Giants!  Following breakfast, transfer to the national park offices where you will be allocated a gorilla family in groups of 8 as well as a gorilla tracking guide.

This will be the highlight of your safari, meeting with the gentle giants!  Expect to walk between 2 and 8 hours through steep and slippery conditions, at times with rain overhead.

Upon sighting the gorillas, you spend the allowed one hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving around playing, and grooming. After the sighting head back to the trailhead and transfer back to the lodge.

Day 3: Travel back to Entebbe or Kigali in Rwanda for departure

On this day, prepare for the long journey at the end of your 3-day gorilla trekking Bwindi experience tour back to Entebbe. You will head back to Entebbe by flight or drive back. There will be stops along the way for lunch en route and the guide will drop you off at your place of convenience. You may decide to Fly back to Entebbe or depart through Kigali International Airport.

Ground transportation in a safari customized 4WD Toyota Landcruiser with gasoline/fuel, Mineral water in the vehicle, services of an English-speaking Driver/guide, primate permits,  Accommodation,  Meals as shown (B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner), all Park Entrance Fees, Statutory Taxes where applicable
